No mine threat to civilian vessels has been recorded in the Black Sea for a long time, and the grain corridor is operating normally. This was stated by Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk on television, Time Ukraine Israel reports.
“The facts show that we are performing our mine safety tasks at a fairly high level. This is very important because it ensures the trust of shipowners and insurance companies,” Pletenchuk said.
According to him, Ukrainian military sailors effectively guarantee the safety of navigation, which has become a key factor for the sustainable operation of maritime grain exports.
