Today, on the anniversary of the liberation of Bucha from the Russian occupiers, speakers and vice-speakers of the parliaments of European countries arrived in Kyiv. This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The high-ranking officials include representatives of the parliaments of Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Sweden, Finland, the United Kingdom, and the European Parliament.
Stefanchuk stressed that this visit is a powerful signal of support for Ukraine in its fight for freedom. “Ukraine feels the shoulder of its partners. And this is inspiring,” he said.
The arrival of European leaders on a symbolic day once again underlines the unity of the democratic world in the face of Russian aggression.
