Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised Ukraine more destruction after a drone attack in the Russian city of Kazan the day before. This was reported by France24.
Threats from the Kremlin
“Anyone who tries to harm our country, even in the smallest way, will face much greater destruction in their own country and will regret their actions,” Putin said on Sunday, commenting on Saturday’s attack.
The incident took place in the city of Kazan, located approximately 1,000 kilometres from the Ukrainian border. According to local authorities, the attack targeted residential buildings, but no casualties were reported.
Moscow blames Kyiv for the attack, although there has been no official reaction from the Ukrainian authorities.
This event was another episode in a series of mutual accusations between Russia and Ukraine over strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
