The systematic and constant nature of Russia’s strikes against Ukraine clearly shows that Moscow is ignoring the diplomatic efforts of its international partners.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement on Facebook and posted a video of the aftermath of another night attack.
Massive drone attack Last night, the Russian army again attacked Ukraine with attack drones. A total of 74 drones were launched, 54 of which were Shahed. Kharkiv suffered the most – the enemy launched at least 14 drones. The strikes resulted in injuries, including three children.
Strikes were also recorded in Odesa and Sumy regions. Russian drones and artillery damaged energy facilities: an FPV drone hit a substation in Sumy region, and a power line was damaged by artillery shelling in Nikopol, Dnipro region. Almost 4,000 customers were left without electricity.
Aerial bombardment of Sumy region Russians are actively using aerial bombs. Over the past 24 hours, about 50 guided aerial bombs were launched at Sumy region.
Zelenskyy calls for pressure on Moscow The President stresses that Russia’s systematic strikes are a blatant disregard for the diplomatic initiatives of its partners. The Kremlin is not even trying to ensure a partial ceasefire. Zelenskyy is convinced that new, even more tangible pressure on Russia is needed to put the war on the path to end.
“There is no need to wait until 11 April, when it will be a month since Russia said no to the American ceasefire proposal. We need to act as soon as possible. We are ready to work with all our partners in America, Europe and the world as constructively as possible to achieve the much-needed result – a decent and lasting peace,” the Head of State stressed.
