Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasised the need for a full and comprehensive investigation into the attacks on servicemen that took place recently in Poltava, Rivne and Dnipro regions. He posted this on his Facebook page.
Attacks on the military
- Poltava region: a serviceman was killed by an intruder while performing his duties at a territorial recruitment centre.
- Rivne: servicemen were wounded as a result of an explosive device, one of them is in serious condition.
- Dnipropetrovs’k (Pavlohrad): an explosion occurred in the RTC, a wounded soldier is in stable condition.
Mobilisation and security of the military
Syrskyi stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible to ensure that mobilisation activities are carried out without human rights violations. He also stressed that the Land Forces are working to eliminate problems in the work of territorial recruitment centres.
“In a full-scale war, the defence of the state is impossible without mobilisation measures,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed.
