Ukraine is preparing for important events: DIU statement on the end of the war

A representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), Andriy Yusov, made an important statement about the prospects for ending the war. According to him, Ukrainians should not expect a quick cessation of hostilities, but should instead work actively to bring victory closer. He said this in an interview with the Blausch Digest YouTube channel.

“There is no point in waiting. We need to work hard. And such work is underway – the Ukrainian political and military leadership, diplomats, and civil society organisations are actively making efforts. Our international partners are also involved in this process,” Yusov stressed.

He also noted that important events, including the Munich Security Conference, are expected to take place in Ukraine in the near future, which could bring positive news. However, the main changes are currently taking place on the frontline.

“We cannot afford to just wait. We have to create good news ourselves. Therefore, everyone who helps the Ukrainian defence forces – with donations or other means – is doing an important job,” he added.

Yusov also commented on statements by some MPs about the possible end of martial law in three months. He called for a focus on official reports and real facts rather than speculation.

“Forecasts are just that, forecasts. We rely on objective data, not assumptions,” he concluded.
