Ukraine is ready to support Spain, Portugal and France in overcoming the consequences of the massive power cuts that have rocked Europe. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

“I have just contacted my counterparts in Spain, Portugal and France to offer assistance to Ukraine after today’s power cuts in Europe,” Sibiga said.

The minister stressed that Ukraine has “extensive experience” in ensuring energy resilience in emergency situations, gained during the full-scale war.

According to him, Ukrainian diplomats have already established contact with the relevant governments and are waiting for a list of specific needs that can be met promptly.

“We will remain in close contact with our partners for further coordination,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy added.

As a reminder, large-scale power outages in Spain, Portugal and France were caused by rare atmospheric phenomena and possible technical problems in the power grids.
