Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Valeriy Zaluzhnyi said that the development of modern technology is creating conditions for a war of attrition. At the invitation of the Royal Netherlands Army and the Bundeswehr, Zaluzhnyi took part in an international seminar to discuss strategic defence perspectives and the future of technology on the battlefield.
Zaluzhnyi posted this on his Facebook page. According to him, the main issues of the seminar were readiness for the challenges of 2030 and the expansion of NATO’s defence capabilities.
The event paid special attention to the impact of the technological revolution on military conflicts, emphasising that modern technologies are changing the nature of warfare and creating new threats.
