President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the importance of drones in the war with Russia and promised to continue active work to strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities in this area.

“Drones have already changed the course of the war. They not only protect the lives of our military, but also compensate for the shortage of other weapons, including artillery. This allows us to defend ourselves more effectively and destroy the occupiers,” Zelenskyy said.

The advantage is with Ukraine

The President stressed that unmanned aerial vehicles are one of the most important tools in the fight against the aggressor both on the frontline and in the enemy’s rear.

“We will continue to increase the capabilities of our army in this area. I am grateful to everyone who works to ensure that Ukraine retains the advantage in drones: manufacturers, suppliers, instructors and developers of new technological solutions,” he added.

Developing technology to win

The President also expressed gratitude to everyone who contributes to the development of Ukrainian technologies and helps the Armed Forces to receive the most modern equipment.

“The Ukrainian army is already demonstrating innovative approaches to warfare to the world. Thanks to our people and technologies, we are strengthening not only our defence, but also our belief in victory,” Zelenskyy stressed.

Ukraine continues to develop its own drone production, which has become a key factor in countering Russian aggression.
