On 17 September, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held two strategic meetings: one with the military command on the victory plan and another with the Air Force command on the expansion of the F-16 fighter jet fleet. During his evening address, he said that a substantial military package had been prepared that could significantly strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
At the meeting with the Air Force, they discussed steps to increase the number of combat aircraft and speed up pilot training. Zelenskyy noted that all the tasks for the Air Force and the Ministry of Defence have been defined.
