On the third anniversary of the liberation of Bucha, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid tribute to the memory of the dead civilians who became victims of the Russian occupation.
“Three years ago, the world saw what the Russian occupation was like. Killed people on the streets, tortured civilians, graves in the yards. Since then, no one can say that they do not know what Ukraine is fighting for,” Zelenskyy stressed.
Together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, he lit a lamp at the Wall of Remembrance in Bucha. “Eternal memory to all those whose lives were taken by the Russian war,” the president said.

For reference: The Russian army entered Bucha on 27 February 2022. In 33 days, the occupiers committed more than 9,000 war crimes and killed more than 1,400 civilians, including 37 children.
