President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan have started a bilateral meeting in the Turkish capital. They are expected to discuss Ukraine’s peace initiative and Ankara’s position on a possible meeting with Putin.
The start of the talks was announced by the Ukrainian president’s spokesman, Serhiy Nikiforov. The meeting takes place behind closed doors.
“I confirm that the meeting of the presidents is already underway,” Nikiforov said.
