President Zelenskyy, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska and the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Poland, took part in a commemoration of Ukrainian soldiers who died for the country’s freedom and independence. The ceremony took place on Independence Square in Kyiv.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted the video on his Facebook page.

“Eternal glory and gratitude to the heroes – those who are no longer with us, but who are forever with us. Eternal memory to those who gave their lives defending Ukraine,” the President said.

The ceremony was an important gesture of international solidarity, as it was attended by the leaders of key European countries. Their presence in Kyiv’s central square underscores their support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
