Zelenskyy arrived in the Czech Republic: Spoke with Pavel and Fiala about F-16s, artillery and new initiatives

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, accompanied by the First Lady, arrived in the Czech Republic on an official visit. He is scheduled to meet with Czech President Petr Pavel, Prime Minister Petr Fiala, the heads of both houses of parliament, leaders of political factions and representatives of the defence sector.

According to Zelenskyy on Facebook, the key topics of the talks will be the continuation of the Czech artillery initiative and the expansion of training programmes for Ukrainian F-16 pilots.

“Important meetings are planned at all levels – I thank the Czech Republic for its consistent support. The artillery initiative has already yielded results, we will develop it,” the President noted.

Particular attention will be paid to the air coalition and the supply of F-16 fighters to the Ukrainian fleet. They will also discuss diplomatic efforts to put pressure on Russia and end the war.

First Lady Olena Zelenska will participate in the opening of the Healthcare Initiative for Ukraine medical conference and present new steps in expanding the Coalition of Ukrainian Studies at Czech universities.
