President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed a working group led by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak to prepare a draft of the President’s annual address to the Verkhovna Rada. As stated in Decree 130/2024-rp, published on the President’s official website, the document should be ready by 1 December.
The head of the OP, Andriy Yermak, will be responsible for the overall preparation of the draft message, while the methodological and scientific support will be provided by the director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies, Oleksandr Bohomolov, who is the deputy head of the working group.
The working group consists of Deputy Heads of the Presidential Office Iryna Vereshchuk, Ihor Zhovkva, Olena Kovalska, Roman Mashovets, Viktor Mykyta, Iryna Mudra, Oleh Tatarov, as well as Head of the State Administration of Affairs Ihor Lysyi and Communications Advisor Dmytro Lytvyn.
Yermak was given the right to make changes to the group’s composition and engage representatives of the executive branch, academics, NGOs and foreign experts as necessary.
The working group should determine the structure and schedule of the message within a month. The State Administration of Affairs is tasked with providing funding for the development of the project.
