President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an official meeting with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in Jeddah.
Zelenskyy wrote about this on his Telegram channel, noting that Saudi Arabia plays a key role in international diplomacy and thanking the prince for his support of Ukraine.

Peace initiatives and ending the war
The President of Ukraine and the Prince of Saudi Arabia discussed in detail possible steps to end the war and achieve a lasting peace.
“Saudi Arabia provides a very important platform for diplomacy, and we appreciate it,” Zelenskyy said.
Return of captured and deported children
Zelenskyy emphasised the importance of releasing Ukrainian prisoners of war and returning children illegally taken to Russia.
Security guarantees and economic cooperation
They discussed the formats of security guarantees that could help stabilise the situation in Ukraine.
Special attention was paid to economic cooperation and potential investments in Ukraine’s recovery.
“We see prospects for development in the areas of security, energy and infrastructure,” Zelenskyy said.
International consultations in Jeddah
The Ukrainian delegation will remain in Jeddah for talks with the US side, scheduled for 11 March. Zelenskyy expressed confidence that the meeting would be constructive.
