Situation at the front: main directions and combat successes

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Serhiy Bargylevych and Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov. The main focus of the discussion was the priority areas on the frontline, including Pokrovske, Kurakhove, Toretske and Kupianske. According to the president’s official telegram channel, these regions remain among the hottest spots where Ukrainian troops continue to conduct active defence and offensive operations. This was reported by TimeUkraineIsrael.

The meeting also reviewed progress on the northern border. Important developments were noted in the Kursk operation, where Ukrainian troops inflicted significant losses on Russian forces, destroying enemy manpower and equipment near the border.

Increased supply from partners: artillery and drones for the Defence Forces

Zelenskyy noted positive changes in supplies for the frontline. Thanks to international partners, support for the Ukrainian Defence Forces is growing, especially for artillery, which plays a key role in deterring and repelling aggressor attacks. According to the confirmed military aid packages, the supply of artillery is uninterrupted, giving Ukrainian units an advantage in combat.

Defence Minister Umerov also reported on the supply of Ukrainian-made drones. The drone production programme is actively developing, and all approved plans for the supply of drones to the Ukrainian Defence Forces are currently on schedule. The President expressed his gratitude to Ukrainian manufacturers for their assistance and stressed that this area needs to be further strengthened.

New plans and support for domestic production

The meeting discussed steps to ensure more active production of Ukrainian drones. The President instructed the Minister of Defence to further increase orders for drones, which will expand the range and effectiveness of the Ukrainian army’s operations in the current war. Relying on domestic production helps the Armed Forces to remain self-sufficient and ready for active resistance at any point of the frontline.

Relying on the strong support of its partners and the development of its own technologies, Ukraine is actively strengthening its positions in the military sphere, contributing to effective counteraction to aggression.
