In 2015, the rebels signed a peace agreement with the government, but at the end of 2022, the CSP-PSD withdrew from the negotiation process.

The activity of PMC “Wagner” is also widely covered in the mass media. According to sources, during the fighting for Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, the PMK lost at least 19,500 fighters, most of whom were prisoners. In May, during the offensive of the Russian army on Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, among the attackers were also fighters of the African Corps, including former members of the “Wagner” PMC.
