On the 465th day of Operation Iron Swords, Israel continues its unwavering fight for peace and stability in the region. The IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) is actively responding to threats from multiple fronts, including Gaza, Judea and Samaria, as well as Lebanon and Syria. These measures are critical to ensuring the security of Israeli citizens who live under the constant threat of terrorist attacks.
In particular, on the last day, military operations covered remote sites outside the conventional conflict zones, demonstrating Israel’s readiness to respond to any attempts to violate its sovereignty. Since the agreement with Lebanon, the IDF has carried out attacks against terrorist targets, which is evidence of its determination not to allow anyone to threaten the security of Israeli citizens.
IDF operations in response to the aggression include intercepting drones launched from Yemen and intensive shelling of terrorist groups in Gaza that are forced to launch attacks against Israel. All this is done in order to protect civilians and reduce the risk to the lives of innocent people, according to the news portal Newsru.co.il.
Israel, as a sovereign state, has the right and duty to protect its citizens. The IDF, as a professional and moral army, acts in accordance with international law, striving to minimise civilian casualties despite the difficult conditions it faces.
The international community must recognise the challenges Israel faces on a daily basis and support its right to self-defence. Only by working together can we achieve long-term peace in a region where every country feels secure.
