On the night of 16 April, Russian forces conducted another air attack on Odesa using attack drones. The strike damaged civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings and warehouses.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper. According to him, the attack caused a fire in one of the residential buildings and damaged critical infrastructure.
“The strike damaged civilian infrastructure, including a residential building,” Kiper said.
As of 05:25, the State Emergency Service reported that at least three people were injured in the attack. They were provided with medical assistance.
Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov confirmed that several residential buildings and warehouses were damaged. Emergency services continue to work at the scene of the attack.
Russia is systematically shelling Odesa from the air in an attempt to disrupt the city’s infrastructure and spread panic among the civilian population.
