On the night of 6 March, Russian troops attacked Odesa district with attack drones. According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the enemy struck at the civilian and energy infrastructure of Pivdenne.
Two people were injured in the attack, one of them was hospitalised. The victim’s condition is assessed as stable.
There was also a hit to an energy infrastructure facility, which led to power outages. Part of the area was left without electricity, and specialists are working to restore power.
In addition, a private two-storey house was destroyed, and the windows and facade of the administrative building were damaged.
Emergency services, rescuers and power engineers are currently working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack and help the victims.
Oleg Kiper urged the residents of the region not to ignore the alarms and to take care of their own safety during the air attacks.
