The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have intensified the information campaign “Burn the FSB” to counter attempts to recruit Ukrainian youth by Russian special services. As part of the campaign, a social video warning of the harsh consequences of participating in sabotage and terrorism was created in collaboration with film director Liubomyr Levytskyi.

The video draws attention to the fact that arson attacks on property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, state institutions, or mining are classified as terrorist acts or sabotage and are punishable by law, even if the crime was committed by minors.

According to the SBU, in 2024, more than 450 people were detained who carried out tasks from Russian supervisors and, instead of the promised “easy money”, received suspicion and a real prospect of being imprisoned.

The campaign also includes an appeal to citizens who may receive offers to commit illegal acts: if you receive such an offer, you should immediately inform the SBU via a specialised chatbot at t.me/spaly_fsb_bot and provide information about the person who tried to recruit you.
