An incident occurred in the city of Kiryat Haim that attracted the attention of law enforcement. A 38-year-old local resident was charged with a brutal attack on a cleaner working in a neighbouring apartment. This was reported by Israeli media, including the websites vesty and mynet.

According to the victim, while cleaning her apartment, which was being prepared for sale, she was suddenly approached by a neighbour. The man, furious at his own suspicions that they were planning to open a brothel in the premises, began verbally abusing the woman, calling her a “Russian whore”. However, the aggression did not stop there – he entered the apartment and elbowed her in the face.

The cleaner fell down, but gathered her strength and tried to escape, hiding in an inner room. However, the attacker continued to chase her, punching her in the head. The woman pleaded for mercy, trying to calm the aggressor down by speaking Hebrew: “Slicha, slicha” (“I’m sorry”). But the man remained relentless: he threatened to strangle her, gesturing with his hands.

The attacker left the victim only when he decided to destroy the apartment’s property. He smashed the TV set, broke the furniture and damaged the kitchen utensils. As a result, the woman suffered numerous injuries, including bruises and bruises on her face.

The man was charged with three counts of assault causing bodily harm, intentional damage to property and threats. The court is considering a case that could become another example of unacceptable aggression and xenophobia in modern society.
