Death toll from Russian attack on Kyiv rises to 17: 114 injured

The death toll from the massive Russian attack on Kyiv could rise to 17 people, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, 17 June.

“A total of 114 injured people have been treated by doctors after the massive enemy attack. 68 of them were hospitalised. Others did not require hospitalisation after receiving medical care,” he wrote.

Klitschko also said that three people were found dead in Darnytsia district. It was not specified whether these three were included in the previous number of victims (14) recorded in Solomianskyi district.

As a reminder, a Russian missile destroyed an entire staircase of a nine-storey residential building in Solomianskyi district. According to preliminary data, 14 people were killed.

In total, the number of wounded in Kyiv has already exceeded 100 – 114 people have been officially reported injured.
