Alanya, Turkey – The Intelligence Agency of the People of Ukraine informs about the elimination of the FSS agent of the Russian Federation, which took place in the resort area of Okurcalar, Alanya, Turkey. According to preliminary data, the agent died as a result of asphyxiation in a hotel room.

This incident attracted the attention of both local and international media, as such cases of eliminating foreign intelligence agents in popular tourist areas rarely occur openly. While the official identification of the deceased by the Turkish police is still pending, sources say that she was probably engaged in espionage activities for the Russian Federation.

The Ukrainian Intelligence Agency of the People did not provide additional details about the operation and did not confirm whether this action was a planned response to the activities of Russian special services. However, experts emphasise that this event may be part of a broader strategy aimed at reducing the influence of FSS agents, especially in regions where the number of Russian citizens is growing, in particular in Turkey.

Alanya’s tourism sector, which is popular with CIS nationals, remains on high alert. Local authorities also refrain from commenting, but have stepped up security measures and surveillance of foreigners, including those from Russia.
