A massive missile and drone attack on 28 November severely damaged Ukraine’s critical energy facilities. To ensure the stability of the energy system, temporary power outage schedules have been introduced, which will last until 2 December, Time Ukraine Israel reports, citing the press service of Ukrenergo.
Outage schedules for household consumers
Tomorrow, 2 December, the following restrictions will apply to household consumers:
- 07:00 – 08:00 – disconnection of one queue;
- 08:00 – 10:00 – shutdown of two queues;
- 10:00 – 11:00 – one queue will be shut down;
- 11:00 – 19:00 – shutdown of two queues;
- 19:00 – 22:00 – one queue will be shut down.
Restrictions for industry and business
Power limitation schedules will be in effect for enterprises and business structures from 06:00 to 22:00.
Work of power engineers and possible changes in schedules
Power engineers are actively working to repair the damaged equipment to minimise the time and scope of restrictions. However, schedules may be adjusted throughout the day depending on the situation in the power system. For up-to-date information, residents are encouraged to follow the updates on the websites of regional power distribution companies and their official social media pages.
A call to save energy
Ukrainians are asked to use electricity rationally during the allocated hours to ensure the stability of the system.
