In Lower Austria, a minibus carrying Ukrainians crashed into a truck on Tuesday morning, killing four people and seriously injuring four other passengers.
This is reported by the public broadcaster ORF, Ukrinform reports.
“There was a serious traffic accident on the Southern Motorway (A2) on Tuesday morning. A fully occupied minibus collided head-on with a truck. Four people were killed and four others were seriously injured,” the statement said.
The accident occurred at around 6:20 a.m. near the town of Seebenstein (Neunkirchen) in the direction of Vienna. According to preliminary police reports, the minibus hit the truck as it was pulling out of a parking space.
There were 8 Ukrainian citizens in the minibus, four of whom died and four others were seriously injured – after the collision, they were trapped in the vehicle, and rescuers used hydraulic equipment to free them. The driver and passenger of the truck suffered minor injuries.



The victims were taken to hospitals in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland.
