10 November 2024, Kyiv, Sofia Square – On Sunday, the main square of the capital hosted another Free Azov action organised in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war. Relatives of the defenders and concerned citizens took part in the event to call for the release of the prisoners. This is reported by TimeUkraineIsrael portal with reference to Kyiv.novyny.

Free Azov action: the voice of Ukrainian prisoners
Under the slogan “I am the voice of the captives. Are you?”, Ukrainians once again gathered on St Sophia Square to express solidarity with the captured soldiers and draw the attention of the public and international organisations to their fate. Relatives and friends of the Azov Brigade soldiers called for support for the prisoners and for them not to be forgotten.

Support for drivers and citizens
During the rally, numerous motorists honked their horns in support, reinforcing the atmosphere of unity and solidarity with the soldiers’ families. The organisers of the event stressed that their goal was to secure the release of each of the captured defenders of Ukraine.

Peaceful actions in Ukrainian cities
Over the weekend, similar peaceful gatherings were held in many Ukrainian cities, where families of prisoners of war stressed that the heroic soldiers should not be forgotten. Participants called for continued support for prisoners of war in difficult conditions.
These actions show that Ukrainians remember their heroes and are ready to fight for their return home.
