On Saturday, a video titled “Soon… Time is running out” appeared on the Telegram channel of Hamas’ military wing, the Iz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades. It was accompanied by tense music, and the text of the message was repeated in three languages – Hebrew, English and Arabic, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The video ends with footage of a man whose identity remains unknown. He is probably an Israeli hostage. He covers his face with his hands and cries.
This recording, like previous statements by Hamas, has an obvious purpose – to stir up fear and put pressure on Israeli society and authorities. Such videos are often used by terrorist groups for psychological influence and attempts to obtain political or strategic concessions.
As the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues, the situation remains extremely tense. This video may be part of a broader information campaign aimed at escalating tensions in the region.
