The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced a serious threat of ballistic missile use in Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnipro regions. This information came in the context of growing tensions in the region and active hostilities.

The announcement was made at 14:42, and since then, local authorities and civil defence have been actively working to ensure the safety of the population. Residents of these areas are urged to stay in shelters and closely monitor messages from official sources.

Additional air defence forces have now been deployed to the regions to strengthen defence capabilities and minimise the possible consequences of a threat. Military analysts note that the use of ballistic missiles could have serious consequences for the areas that would be targeted.

The situation remains tense and the safety of civilians is a priority for all levels of the Ukrainian government. Efforts are being made to avoid casualties and destruction of infrastructure, despite the complexity of the current military challenges.
