An accident at the main heating network in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv resulted in a heating cut-off in 50 residential buildings.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, citing Kyivteploenergo, the accident occurred on the morning of 26 February on Vasyl Kasiyan Street. It was caused by a 450 mm diameter pipeline break.

Urgent repair work

An emergency repair team is working at the site and all the necessary equipment is in place.
Given the cold weather, the repair team plans to repair the damage within 24 hours.
As soon as the accident is repaired, the heat carrier will be supplied to the buildings, and the managers will ensure heat circulation in the in-building systems.

The latest information on the resumption of heat supply can be found on the Kyiv Komunal Telegram channel.
