Kherson has been without power for two days after Russia’s massive attack on the energy infrastructure. According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, the power supply had not been restored by the morning of 29 November.

Situation in the city

Power engineers have discovered additional damage, which complicates their work. For the time being, critical infrastructure is also without power.

“The launch of critical infrastructure in the community is tentatively scheduled for the afternoon,” said Mrochko.

As a reminder, on the morning of 28 November, the city lost power. In this regard, Kherson has introduced a water supply schedule to provide residents with basic needs.

The situation remains critical, but Ukrainian power engineers are making every effort to restore power to Kherson.
