According to the Omnibus nationwide public opinion poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) from 15 May to 3 June, more than half of Ukrainians – 52% – are strongly against any territorial concessions in the context of the war. This is an increase compared to February 2025, when the number was 50%.
At the same time, 38% of respondents are ready to accept certain territorial losses (in February 2025 – 39%). The survey was conducted among 2004 Ukrainian citizens aged 18 and older who live in government-controlled areas. The statistical error of the sample is approximately 2.9%, but possible systematic deviations due to martial law should be taken into account.
The KIIS emphasises that the results are highly representative and allow us to analyse public attitudes on this topical issue.
