Two people were killed in a nighttime drone attack on Kyiv. Seven people were injured, including four children.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. According to him, the wreckage of the UAV hit the upper floors of a five-storey building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Two people died on the spot. Seven people were injured, including four children. Three people, including three children with burns, were hospitalised. Four were treated on the spot.
The State Emergency Service informs that the consequences of the night attack were being eliminated in four districts of the capital:
▪ Sviatoshynskyi district – the debris hit a nine-storey building, apartments on four floors were on fire, the area of the fire was 100 square metres. Five people were rescued.
▪ Solomianskyi district – debris fell on an open area.
▪ Dniprovskyi district – a drone hit a high-rise building, destroying the ceilings on the 29th and 30th floors, no casualties were reported.
▪ Shevchenkivskyi district – in addition to the deaths, a fire was reported on the third and fifth floors. The fire was extinguished.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
