This morning Kherson faced new consequences of Russian attacks. The shelling damaged the electric transport network, which led to a complete shutdown. This was reported by the head of Kherson city administration Roman Mrochko.
“At the moment, electric transport in the city is not working. Due to hostile shelling, the power lines were cut in several places. Our specialists are already working to repair the damage,” said Mrochko.
In addition, around 10:00 a.m., a part of Dniprovskyi district of the city is planned to be cut off for emergency repair work at power facilities.
Mrochko also said that 20 trolleybuses are ready to return to their routes, but the exact time of resumption will be announced later, depending on the success of the repair work.
