SBU and National Police prevent four terrorist attacks and sabotage prepared by Russia

Over the weekend, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police prevented four large-scale terrorist attacks and sabotage acts that were to take place in different regions of the country on the orders of the Russian Federation’s special services. One of the planned explosions was to take place near the railway station in Lviv. This was reported by the SBU.

According to the investigation, Russian agents planned to blow up the military, attack critical infrastructure and set fire to strategically important institutions. All suspects have been detained, and the enemy’s criminal plans have been thwarted.

SBU and National Police prevent terrorist attacks

A 31-year-old recidivist who was preparing an attempted assassination of a Ukrainian serviceman in Bucha was detained in Kyiv region.

A series of explosions near the shopping centre and railway station in Lviv are prevented. A Russian agent planted explosives but was detained at the scene.

An accomplice of the Russian special services, who manufactured explosives and had already set fire to the ASC, was exposed in Chernihiv.

In Vinnytsia, a group of saboteurs who were setting fire to Ukrzaliznytsia equipment on the orders of the Russian Federation were neutralised.

All the suspects were charged with high treason, sabotage and terrorism. The SBU calls on citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the ‘Burn the FSB’ chatbot on Telegram.
