Ukraine has conducted the second stage of a humanitarian exchange with Russia, as part of which seriously wounded and seriously ill servicemen returned home. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel.
According to the Head of State, this time, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service were released.
“Everyone needs treatment, and they will definitely be provided with the necessary assistance,” Zelenskyy said.
He stressed that this is the second stage of the return of seriously wounded and seriously ill soldiers held captive in Russia.
“We continue to work to return everyone. I am grateful to everyone who helps make these exchanges possible,” the President said.
