On 3 March 2025, a terrorist attack took place in the Israeli city of Haifa, killing a 70-year-old man and injuring four other people, including a teenager in serious condition. This was reported by local media and the Magen David Adom ambulance service.

According to the preliminary investigation, the terrorist used both edged and firearms. According to the investigation, the deceased sustained a stab wound to the back and a bullet wound to the leg. It is currently being established where the shots came from.

The attacker was a 20-year-old resident of Shfaram named Itro Shahin. According to the Telegram channel Aleksey Zheleznov, he had been abroad for several months before the attack and returned to Israel only last week.

According to preliminary information, Shahin first attacked passengers on a bus heading to Haifa, stabbing them, and then continued the attack near the central bus station. The terrorist was killed on the spot by a security guard and a civilian.

This attack took place just a few days after another terrorist attack – last Thursday, a 53-year-old Palestinian man from Jenin drove a car into a group of people near Haifa, injuring 13 people.

All Israeli security services are currently on high alert. The authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
