The campaign of President Joe Biden is confident of his victory in the upcoming elections of 2024. In a new memo obtained by The Washington Post, senior Biden officials say they are focusing on the key blue-wall states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, ignoring changes in the polls since the president’s debate performance.

According to the memo, the Biden campaign intends to share these strategic priorities with concerned Democratic senators at a meeting today. Despite a recent Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll showing a majority of Democrats across the country believe Biden should end his re-election campaign after his performance at a debate with Donald Trump last month, the campaign remains confident on its course.

The poll results contradict Biden’s claim that only party elites want him to resign. Senior campaign officials stress that their strategy is to build support in critical states that could turn out to be decisive in the election.

The announcements by the Biden campaign come amid mounting pressure within the Democratic Party. Many in the party have expressed doubts about Biden’s ability to hold his ground, given his performance in the debates and current opinion polls.

However, Biden’s staff is convinced that their strategy of focusing on key states will bear fruit and ensure victory in the 2024 election.
