The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on the Swedish criminal organisation Foxtrot Network and its leader, Rav Majid, accusing the group of collaborating with Iran to carry out attacks on Israeli and Jewish targets across Europe.

This was reported by Reuters with reference to the statement of the British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.

“Britain will not tolerate threats from Iran. We are taking action against the Foxtrot criminal network and its leader for their involvement in violence against Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe on behalf of the Iranian regime,” Lemmy said.

The sanctions include a freeze on the group’s assets and personal restrictions on Rav Majid, including a ban on entry to the UK and a block on financial resources.

The Iranian Embassy in London has not yet commented on these sanctions.

It is known that the United States imposed sanctions against Foxtrot and its leader in March this year. The United Kingdom notes that since the beginning of 2022, it has already recorded more than 20 plots organised with the support of Iran to kidnap or kill British citizens and people living in the United Kingdom.

As previously reported, Reuters wrote about Iran’s intensified terrorist activities in Europe and the United States, including attempted terrorist attacks and kidnappings of regime opponents abroad.

Against the backdrop of these threats, the UK has announced its intention to tighten control over all political activities of Iran on its territory.
