Ukraine has commenced mass production of its own long-range strike drones capable of targeting enemy strategic assets from distances exceeding 1000 kilometers. Herman Smytanin, CEO of “Ukroboronprom,” highlighted the significant contribution of Ukrainian enterprises that have effectively collaborated with the private sector to expand drone production scales. He emphasized the necessity to avoid approaches that mimic traditional methods of adversaries, particularly Russia, stating, “We have become more non-linear and innovative. Russia has vast resources and a powerful industry, so blindly copying their approach makes no sense. We must be more flexible and inventive. Just as David realized battling Goliath with Goliath’s own methods was futile, he chose the weapon that could bring victory and applied it skillfully.”
