Tomorrow, 19 February, Ukraine will introduce restrictions on electricity consumption for industrial and business consumers. This was reported by the press service of NPC Ukrenergo.
According to the company, the restrictions will apply during the following hours:
– 06:00 – 09:00
– 15:00 – 22:00
The reason for the restrictions is the damage to the energy infrastructure caused by Russian missile and drone attacks.
Ukrenergo noted that no outages are expected for household consumers.
However, the company warned that the time and scope of restrictions may change throughout the day. In this regard, citizens and businesses are advised to follow the updates on the official websites and social media pages of the regional power companies.
The day before, on 18 February, Ukraine had already imposed power supply restrictions on businesses and industrial enterprises during peak load hours:
– 06:00 – 09:00
– 16:00 – 19:00
