Ukraine’s latest intelligence: Hostile shelling in Solomianskyi district of Kyiv caused a fire in a high-rise building

Kyiv, evening – As a result of another hostile shelling in the capital, a 25-storey residential building in the Solomensky district was partially damaged, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on its telegram channel. The blast wave damaged apartments on the upper floors – 17, 18 and 19. Shortly afterwards, a fire broke out on the 16th and 17th floors and spread to some of the premises.

The rescue services responded promptly to the situation: 43 rescuers and 11 units of special fire and rescue equipment are working at the scene. As of this hour, the fire is being contained to prevent further spread of the fire and possible consequences for the residents of the building.
