The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has presented a new system for providing troops with drones – the DOT-Chain Defence System, which will allow brigades to choose the drones they need independently and allow manufacturers to plan production more efficiently. This was announced by Rustem Umerov during a meeting with more than 200 Ukrainian drone manufacturers.
What will change with DOT-Chain?
Faster delivery of drones:
The units will choose the UAV models they need depending on the situation at the front. This will reduce the delivery time from several months to a few weeks.
Support for manufacturers:
The companies will receive predictable orders from the army, which will allow them to plan production and scale more efficiently.
Transparent rules of the game:
Clear delivery mechanisms and transparent conditions will create healthy competition in the market and stimulate innovation in the UAV sector.
“Together with the manufacturers, we are working to ensure that no serviceman waits for weeks or months for the necessary equipment. The Ministry of Defence is open to dialogue and joint work,” Rustem Umerov stressed.
Why is DOT-Chain being implemented?
The new system is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of Ukrainian troops, providing them with flexibility in choosing tactics and ensuring a technological advantage over the enemy.
