On Sunday, July 28, Ukrainian athletes will continue their quest for medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. On the second official day of competition, 13 sets of medals will be awarded, and 14 Ukrainian athletes will take to the arenas, with three of them having a chance to win medals.

Artistic Gymnastics
Qualification: Anna Lashevskaya scored 50.298 points across all four apparatus and currently holds the seventh intermediate position. The top 24 gymnasts from the qualification will advance to the individual all-around final, which is expected to conclude around 23:30.
Judo
Up to 66 kg: Bohdan Yadov won against Kubanychbek Aybek Uulu from Kyrgyzstan in the 1/16 finals but lost to Yondonperenlei Baskhuu from Mongolia in the 1/8 finals.
Shooting
Rifle, 10m, Qualification: Serhiy Kulish did not qualify, finishing in 27th place with a score of 627.4 points.
Table Tennis
Singles Tournament: Margarita Pesotska defeated Thailand’s Orawan Paranang (4:3) in the 1/32 finals and advanced to the 1/16 finals.
Swimming
100m Backstroke, Qualification: Oleksandr Zheltiakov did not advance to the semifinals, finishing in 24th place with a time of 54.32 seconds.
Rowing
Lightweight Double Sculls, Third Qualification Race: Ihor Khmara and Stanislav Kovalev finished fourth and did not automatically advance to the semifinals but will continue competing in the repechage.
Tennis
14:30: Elina Svitolina vs. Moyuka Uchijima (Japan): Singles tournament, 1/32 finals.
Cycling
15:10: Yana Belomoina: Mountain bike, cross-country, final.
Badminton
15:50: Polina Bugrova vs. Gregoria Tunjung (Indonesia): Group stage, first round.
Tennis
16:00: Marta Kostyuk vs. Lulu Sun (New Zealand): Singles tournament, 1/32 finals.
Canoe Slalom
16:30: Viktoria Us: Kayak, semifinals.

Angelina Kalinina withdrew from the competition: She was replaced by Australia’s Olivia Gadecki in the match against the Netherlands’ Arantxa Rus.
