Export Opportunities for Animal Feed
Ukrainian producers now have the opportunity to export feed flour and feed fats to Israel. Special veterinary certificates for the export of poultry, feather, fish meal, as well as oils and fats for animal feed, have been approved by the competent authorities of both countries.
Role of the Ukrainian MFA and State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection
This market opening was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Ukraine. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized, “The MFA, together with the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, is actively working to open new markets for Ukrainian products worldwide. In the past week alone, we have opened new markets in three countries: China, Qatar, and Israel. This is part of our strategy to support Ukrainian businesses during wartime.”
Expanding Exports: Strategy of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection
Sergiy Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, added, “We continue to support the expansion of bilateral trade and the diversification of exports across various product categories, including animal feed. We are currently working on 220 initiatives to open markets in different countries for products such as meat, dairy products, fish products, and beekeeping products.”
