The situation at the front remains extremely tense. On 30 May, the Ukrainian Defence Forces recorded 191 combat engagements with the Russian army. In total, the enemy fired 6,071 times, 88 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,767 kamikaze drones. This is stated in a post on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian aircraft attacked a number of settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. In total, the occupiers dropped 155 guided bombs and fired four missiles.
In response, Ukrainian troops struck seven areas of enemy concentration, six command and control points and 16 enemy artillery positions.
The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest spot, with 47 attacks recorded there. There were 29 attacks in the Liman sector and 25 in the Novopavlivka sector. Ukrainian defenders stopped the attacks in the Kupianske, Siverske, Kramatorsk, Toretske and other sectors.
The situation in the Kursk sector, where Ukrainian forces conducted 34 combat engagements despite air pressure and constant enemy shelling, should be noted separately.
Despite the enormous pressure, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the line and inflicting serious losses on the enemy.
