On the night of 1 December, the Ukrainian capital was attacked by enemy drones. Thanks to the effective work of the air defence forces, about ten attack drones were neutralised, the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMDA) reports.
Attack and consequences
During the attack, debris fell in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital:
- Six cars were destroyed and damaged in the yard of a residential building.
- The blast wave smashed windows in several apartments.
- Firefighters extinguished the fires in several cars that had started due to falling debris.
Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there were no casualties among the city’s residents. The information is being updated.
The Kyiv City State Administration reminds residents of the capital to stay in shelters during air raid alerts. The agency warns that due to hostile activity in the Kyiv region, drones may change direction, posing a new threat to the capital.
“Air defence forces are working in the capital. Stay in shelters,” the message says.
The Defence Forces continue to control the airspace and do everything possible to ensure the safety of citizens.
