Russian troops continue to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders and have achieved minor tactical successes near several settlements in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the DeepState analytical project on the night of 9 February.
“The enemy advanced near Zaporizhzhia (a village in Donetsk region – ed.), Zelenivka and in Andriivka,” the statement said.
In recent weeks, the occupiers have intensified their attacks in the eastern direction, using tactics to deplete Ukrainian forces. Despite local advances, the Ukrainian army continues to hold the line and inflict losses on the enemy.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the headquarters of Russian troops in Selydove, which indicates that Ukrainian artillery and drones are actively working behind enemy lines.
