On one of the key eastern directions, Ukrainian artillery struck a precise blow at the Zoo-1M radar system, one of the enemy’s most dangerous systems for counter-battery warfare.
The destruction of the Russian radar was reported by the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops. The video shows the successful work of the Black Forest brigade’s artillery scouts, who detected enemy equipment as it was being deployed and transmitted the exact coordinates for the strike.
“The Zoo-1M is capable of calculating the trajectories of shells and accurately determining the positions of artillery, mortars and even air defences. The station is a critical link in the enemy’s counter-battery fire system. According to open source estimates, its cost is about $25 million.
The command emphasises that the destruction of such a complex is not only a blow to the tactical capabilities of the Russian army, but also an important psychological advantage on the battlefield.
